Standard vs Collection Bidding

Regular bidding stands for placing your bids to individual NFTs one by one, as opposed to making collection bids where the user places multiple bids at once.

Wen is Regular Bidding Useful?

  • If you want to place bids on NFTs which have a combination of traits

  • If you want to place bids on a certain rarity range

  • If you want your bids to individually outbid your competitors (you can't do this with collection bidding because with collection bidding you enter one single offer for either the whole collection or for NFTs that share a single specific trait. In other words, you can outbid other collection bids but you can't outbid regular bids.)

Types of Collection Bidding

  • Standard Collection Bidding

  • Collection Trait Bidding (CTO)

Standart Collection BiddingTrait Bidding (CTO)

Sends bids to the whole collection with a fixed price.

Collection Trait Bidding

Sends bids to a particular trait in the collection with a fixed price

Even though most collections have CTO, it is not enabled for all collections on Opensea. The collection owner needs to enable CTO and if it is not available on Opensea, it is not going to be enabled on NFTinit.

Wen is Collection Bidding Usefull?

  • If you are after a specific trait

  • If you want to buy under the floor price

Collection bidding has a much higher conversion rate as the number of NFTs receives your offers is a lot more compared to the standart bidding.
