Private key enables users to sign transactions without manually clicking on the sign button. In other words, transactions are submitted and approved in the background. Private keys are not only used for bidding, you can also perform actions such as auto-buy & auto-list with the help of the private keys.
Private keys are just like your house keys, never share the private key of your main wallet with anyone, including us. Always use a burner wallet for logging to 3rd party webpages. Keep your valuable assets in a cold wallet.
You can alternatively submit your bids with signing them each time on your wallet. Usually an autoclicker is used for this method. Once the auto-clicker is set, it signs each transaction one by one. Click bidding is slower compared to Private Key Bidding and the user needs to dedicate the computer to the bidding process.
Click bidding is quite primitive and uncomfortable to use compared to the private key bidding, however, it is still used among members. Here is a of how the clicker works.
